About the Manor

The Fox Burrow Manor is part of Cedar City’s Historic District and is on the National Historic Registry.

The home was originally built in 1914 by the Froyd family. The year the manor was built there not a paved road to it. It was built four years before Main Street was covered in gravel for the first time. The Union Pacific Railroad was not yet in Cedar City and would not show for almost a decade later. And the Iron County Hospital did not open until the Froyd family had lived in the house for 9 years.

Several renovations over the years has help keep the house a warm welcoming home today.
